Found this question on a community page called Musicgeeks:If you had to pick 10 songs to be the soundtrack of your life, what songs would you pick??1.Tori Amos--Here in my Head2.Aimee Mann--Cigarettes and Red Vines3.The Sundays--Blind(the whole album)4.October Project--Always5.Jane Siberry--Sail Across the Water6.Moby--Harbour7.Mandalay--Solace(whole album)8.Hooverphonics--don't know the name#59.Cure--Pictures of You10.Mazzy Star--Five String SerenadeThese are actually just some of the first ones that came to mind--there is no way of narrowing down all of the music that is essential to me--there is just soooo much. These are some of my favorites though, and most of them signify a particular time in my life that is memorable:):) It almost hurts to see them all together.

Hello! Remember how I said that I didn't think those lyrics to "Sweet Jane" from the utopia knoware site were quite right? Well, not that it's a major difference but I think I found the right ones:-)Cowboy JunkiesThe Trinity Sessions (1988)Sweet JaneAnyone who's ever had a heart Wouldn't turn around and break it and anyone who's ever played a part Wouldn't turn around and hate it Sweet Jane, sweet Jane Sweet, sweet Jane You're waiting for Jimmy down in the alley Waiting there for him to come back home Waiting down on the corner and thinking of ways to get back home Sweet Jane, sweet Jane Sweet, sweet Jane Anyone who's ever had a dream Anyone who's ever played a part Anyone who's ever been lonely and anyone who's ever split apart Sweet Jane, sweet Jane Sweet, sweet Jane Heavenly widened roses seem to whisper to me when you smile Heavenly widened roses seem to whisper to me when you smile La la la la, la la la, etc... Sweet Jane Sweet, sweet Jane I suppose that 'heavenly widened roses' sounds more like it than 'heavenly blue-eyed roses', maybe. I like my version the best, 'heavenly wine & roses'. -None of them make any damn sense, anyway! Heh.****bye bye****

Hey Kookyfaerie!!! I had never heard Happy Rhodes but listened to some on the net and she's great. Thanks for the reference!! An album I just bought that is wonderful is called Autour De Lucie--the first one they did"Autour de Lucie".They are french and the singer sings in french but the music is very light and airy. It's a tad poppy but on the good side--the kind that puts a little hop in your step:):) Check them out if you don't have it already:)
